Unlike A Virgin

Relationships.  That's what this episode was all about.  The forging of new ones, the death of existing ones and the re-kindling of old ones.

The episode opens with Vince on a reading warpath tearing through a pile of scripts looking for his next big hit  'studio' movie.  Unfortunately for Vince, three of the scripts he's selected to do are already in production with other actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Walhberg and Toby McGuire.  The fourth one he's picked out is an 'indie' film scribed by two no-names which quickly gets Vince and E a tongue lashing from Ari citing the 'indie' Medellin as the reason Vince's career has cooled off.  "No indies 'E'!  Think of it like the the holocaust, never again!" cries Ari.   Even though Vince is trying to forge a new relationship with himself and his career, being in 'movie jail' is making it tough.

At lunch, Vince runs into an old flame, the innocent looking Justine, who he never hooked up because she was a virgin.  She's a pop star and is in town doing a duet with the legendary Tony Bennett.  While E goes to hunt down LB and Nick, the writers of the indie script, Nine Brave Souls, the boys go to Justine's video shoot.  Drama obsesses over his time mis-management and lies to his girlfriend in Paris, Jacqueline because he can't bring himself to tell he he went to the video's wrap party instead of going home to 'tuck her in' on the computer.

E meets with the gun-toting, tobacco chewing no BS, in your face Nick and LB who scold E for being Vince's manager and not being able to get him for their script.  Nick demands E help them sell the script, he turns to Ari who tells him "We share one client E, we're never gonna share two!" Back at the video shoot, Vince isn't happy that Justine pawns him off on a friend.

Drama is upset because he can't get his girlfriend on the phone and figures maybe she could tell he was lying and went out to party in retaliation.  Turtle and a Party Hottie try to convince Drama that she's sleeping, but in typical Drama fashion he escalates his situation by needlessly calling Jacqueline back and screeching "Where the fuck are you?"

Vince has an epiphany after listening to Justine's friend ramble on.  The tarnishing of his career is also tarnishing his love life.  To get them both back, he has to take control, which he does by hopping in a cab and going to see Ari who levels with Vince that Medellin was bad and he was awful in it.  Vince asks if Ari thinks he's a good actor to which Ari gives the closest to 'no' that you'll ever hear from an agent.  Vince steels his resolve and tells Ari to send him out to anyone who will listen to him.

Drama kills his relationship with Jacqueline ranting like a lunatic on the phone "How could you do this to me?  6 months I've been nothing but faithful.  Do you have any idea how much p*ssy is thrown at me day and night?  And I pass on all of it so you can go around f*cking every French f***** who pays you a compliment?" Then Jacqueline picks up the phone, seems her friend had a car accident and she was at the hospital checking on her.  Oooops.  Damage is done.  "I had to call the police on my last boyfriend.  I don't want to have to call the police on you, good bye Johnny," she mutters.

Since E can't get help from Ari, he goes to an old friend for help, Vince's former agent Amanda, who he slept with and ruined their relationship.  E schmoozes her and she tells him to leave it agrees to read 5 pages which is five times the amount of help than Ari offered.

Vince returns to the party, blows past his escort and yanks Justine away from another guy.  He gives her the hard sell on why they should fool around.  She bites.  Vince and Justine hop in the car holding hands as Turtle and the Party Hottie hook up and Drama is left to console himself with a bottle Jack.
